HOW DOES BOTOX COSMETIC WORK?

We will inject these muscles with BOTOX ® to temporarily reduce muscle activity. You will begin to notice a visible smoothing of your lines in a matter of days. This does not even include the cellular changes that can occur over time– reduction of collagen, or damage caused by free radicals in the sun and the environment. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE? DOES IT HURT?
At Outlast Aesthetics, you will meet with one of our experienced Nurse Practitioner injectors who will perform a complimentary consultation to assess your skin and your goals. During the facial analysis, she will determine the appropriate treatment for any areas you wish to address, including moderate to severe frown lines, crow’s feet, forehead lines, lip lines, and/or platysmal bands, to name a few.
The treatment itself takes less than 10 minutes. Since BOTOX ® is what we do day in and day out, we have perfected it to be relatively painless. We use the smallest needles that exist to help reduce discomfort and bruise potential.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FROM TREATMENT?
Real, noticeable results.
You may begin to notice results within 24 to 48 hours for moderate to severe frown lines, with results intensifying in 5-14 days. Botox is FDA approved to last up to 4 months. You’ll look like yourself—only with less noticeable frown lines and crow’s feet.
